As one of only eight women in the Ohio Senate and one of only four in the chamber's majority party, Stephanie provides an important voice for women in the policy-making process.

She sponsored new laws to support victims of sexual abuse, human trafficking, and domestic violence. Her efforts have helped women escape a life of exploitation and restore hope and dignity.

Stephanie authored a bill to create a special commission that highlights the historic effort to give women the right to vote and advances the empowerment of women in the political process.
